Komt een man bij de apotheek en vraagt om een grote fles hoestdrank want zijn hele gezin loopt te hoesten en is verkouden. Onderweg naar huis denkt hij, ik neem maar vast een grote slok, dan ben ik er het eerst vanaf. Maar het spul blijkt niet te zuipen, zo vies. Hij kijkt op het etiket en ziet daar staan: LAXEERMIDDEL. De man gaat op hoge poten terug naar de apotheek en zegt:
"Wat heb je me nou geflikt, vraag ik om hoestdrank, krijg ik een laxeermiddel!"
De apotheker zegt:
"Nou en... dat is toch goed? Wedden dat jij voorlopig niet durft te hoesten!"
